OKBet MMA | Dana White Provides Clues About Bo Nickal’s Upcoming Fight

After Bo Nickal’s second consecutive resounding victory on Contender Series, Dana White has hinted at what’s next for the uber-prospect.

With his dominating triumphs, Bo Nickal has captured the imagination of his supporters. In under 52 seconds, the three-time NCAA division I champion submitted Donovan Beard.

Nickal improved his previous Contender Series victory time by 10 seconds, and Dana White could not have seemed happier. White had requested Nickal to compete in a second DWCS match so that he could gain experience.

At the press conference after the fight, Dana White was asked a topic that we’ve all pondered. When questioned whether Bo Nickal would forego the customary introduction of unranked opponents and immediately leap into top 15 competition, the manager argues against this course of action.

“No, you do not compare him to rated talent. You bring him in similarly to how you would bring in any other prospect, and then you train him and give him battles. The issue is that there are no simple battles here. “This is not comparable to the boxing model.”

Dana White seems to support this method of pairing. Some fans may have criticized the amount of time spent developing Sean O’Malley, yet it has been beneficial.

During what some considered to be a “easy run,” O’Malley has had several opportunity to display his diverse skill set. O’Malley is currently prepared to face Petr Yan and has more Twitter and Instagram followers than the rest of the UFC 280 bout card combined, as of the present.

Following his contract-securing triangle choke, Bo Nickal has chosen Khamzat Chimaev as his next opponent. Most recently, Chimaev crushed Kevin Holland at UFC 279, earning his first first-round choke.

It may seem early, but it is one of the most fascinating prospective matchups between two prospects. However, Dana White would prefer that we allow Bo Nickal to enter the front door first.

“Let’s not go wild here. It’s amusing. Today, we were engaged in matching, and we were discussing Khamzat, prospects, and how f*cking fantastic he is. I mean, you witnessed it in the last battle.”

It is evident that although Dana White is optimistic about Bo Nickals’ future, he is now the conductor of the Khamzat hype train.
